This year we will continue to offer the full Safer Recruitment Training once per term. Each available session will be capped to a maximum of 20 delegates so please ensure you book your preferred date in advance. A waitng list will be enabled should we be able to offer additional places we will contact those on the list.

These one-day events take delegates through the robust selection and recruitment procedures necessary to ensure that all staff are safely recruited in line with legislation and statutory guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Delegates will learn:

• How to plan and deliver the five stages of safter recruitment


• Vetting and barring checks – and how to deal with any issues arising


• Top tips for ensuring that the shortlisting and interviewing processes are conducted with due diligence to  safeguarding

Target Audience: This training is mandatory for all staff members who will be part of the recruitment process who have not yet completed safer recruitment training with REAch2.
