Course code

Event description

Knowing where accidents happen and understanding trends is a vital part of ensuring they don’t happen again.

In this session delegates look at the Trust’s reporting systems: when to report - and most importantly what to do following an accident at work.

Using Parago and practical examples of school incidents to break down the process, this session supports school leaders in helping determine the immediate, underlying and root causes of accident.

In this 1-hour CPD session delegates explore:

  • The use of Parago as a reporting and investigating tool

  • How to approach investigations and assembling a team

  • Common pitfalls and lessons learnt

  • Review of key education incidents

  • The investigation processes

  • Recording and closing incidents

  • Trend analysis

This important health and safety session will also be repeated on 10 March, for those unable to attend the Autumn term date. Please only booke the one date that you will attend.
