Code: REA-159 Visible Learning - Impact Coach Training Day 1, Day 2 & Day 3

The purpose of these sessions is to work with you to inform and develop your knowledge, confidence and skills so that you are able to be a successful impact coach for your school and system. The term ‘impact coach’ is intended to reinforce the connection between coaching and impact, evidenced by improving capability and learner outcomes. The Visible Learningplus Team’s conceptualisation of the impact coach role encompasses Timperley and Parr’s (2009) findings that the role demands people who want to: · Understand the research · Deal with change · See themselves as learners · Challenge explanations and practices that are not likely to lead to improved learner outcomes. This is a two-day program during which we will learn about how to influence change within our schools and to provide you with some frameworks, tools and resources upon which you can rely to be able to successfully fulfil your role as an Impact coach. The instructions for submitting the online matrix can be found near the back of the Evidence into Action 1 workbook and here is the weblink: http://visiblelearningplus.com/forms/vl-matrix-team-version
