Code: REA-1508 ECT Local Development Sessions - Cluster 7 (OPTION 1)

The local development sessions are for all early career teachers (ECTs) who begin Statutory Induction in September 2021. Teachers who were NQTs in the academic year 2020/21 are warmly invited to join the local face-to-face sessions of this programme within their cluster.

These termly cluster based sessions will form part of a structured two-year package of high-quality professional development for ECTs. Through the programme, ECTs will benefit from highly accessible online materials and both face-to-face and online training delivered by our local, school-based experts.

There are 2 venue options for cluster 7 - Tidemill or White Meadows. Please sign up to the venue of your choice and check the venue listing at when making your booking to ensure you have selected the correct listing.

Target Audience: Early career teachers (ECTs) who begin Statutory Induction in September 2021. NQTs from 2020/21 may also attend.

These workshops aim to be practical workshops, where School Business Managers and school-based Finance Managers/Assistants can access further support & guidance from the Finance Business Partners and un-interupted time to get the job/processes completed most efficiently.

  • Sessions will be held online with up to four sessions per month being available to book via Reach Teach.
  • Each session will have a maximum capacity of 15 delegates to ensure that tailored support can be provided.
  • Facilitated by Members of the Finance Team
  • Target Audience School Business Managers, school Finance Managers and those with a budget responsibility

Code: REA-1604 Site Staff Forum - Clusters 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6

The site staff forums will be hosted online via Zoom with the REAch2 Estates Team. There will be two available sessions on the same da:

  • A morning session (10am to 12pm) for Site Staff based in schools from clusters 1,2,3,5 and 6.
  • An afternoon sesson (1pm to 3pm) for Site Staff based in schools from clusters 4,7,8,9 and 10.

We recommend attending the session for your cluster as this will give you the opportunity to network with nearby Site Staff. However, if you are not able to attend your allocated time please do sign up for the other session.

The Site Staff forums aim to:

  • Provide site staff with training on new/updated regulations or policy changes
  • Signpost new relevant products available
  • Provide a platform for sharing examples of best practice in schools
  • Support site staff in their roles, through accessing expert advice and connecting to peers
  • Enable site staff to address any work-related issues and questions.

Agendas will ensure that content is relevant, and matches identified needs. Please ensure you are make a booking to receive communciation about the event.
